The
Mag Pro III is the first and only, truly user-friendly,
portable, precision 3-axis gradiometer!
Watch for it on TV in the hands
of the FBI or CSI.
The essential tool for
anyone taking magnetic area surveys, the Mag Pro III incorporates FOUR
instruments in one impressive package,
providing these powerful functions:
X-Axis magnetic
gradiometer
Y-axis magnetic gradiometer
Z-Axis magnetic gradiometer
And a Total Field
gradiometer (the square root of the sum of
X² + Y² + Z²)
It’s the instrument of
choice for Archeologists, Hydrologists
and Geophysicists, FBI technicians, pipeline surveyors, Crime Scene
Investigators, EOD & EPA personnel.
With the MAG PRO III or
IIIA you can survey a field, meadow
or shallow water in minutes and locate
any ferrous anomaly (Knife, gun, pipe
ends...) buried beneath. The Mag Pro III
with its Total Field output is great for
pinpointing magnetic "Hot Spots", and
then displaying the magnitude and
direction of the individual magnetic
field components.
The state-of-the-art, Mag Pro III
Magnetic
Gradiometer packs all of its
sophisticated electronics in an
incredibly light 2-lb package.
Shock-mounted sensors maintain proper
sensor alignment, even when exposed to
harsh physical abuse. A waterproof
housing stands up to the harshest
weather conditions.
Sensitivity can be set to
10, 100 and 1,000 milligauss settings so
precise measurements of local magnetic
field gradients can be taken with ease.
With the separate Power/Volume and
Sensitivity
controls
you won't lose favorite or preset
settings every time the Mag Pro III
is turned off.
Without a doubt, we think
you'll agree the Mag Pro III is
the definitive instrument for performing
precise magnetic surveys of any area.
In particular, you'll precisely pinpoint
and identify buried iron or steel pipe,
survey markers,
water valves, water meters, 55 gallon
drums, or any other ferrous object
covered by dirt, pavement, water, snow
or ice. It's c
apabilities
are limitless and an experienced
operator can find many uses
for the Mag Pro III.
The Mag Pro III typically
provides over 50 hours of operation from standard,
alkaline batteries. Lithium
batteries can increase that to as much
as 100 hours. The
Low-Battery indicator eliminates those
unwanted surprises by
providing ample warning of fading
batteries 2 to 3 hours before they fail,
a real convenience in the field.
Complementing the
easy-to-read digital display, the Mag
Pro III also uses an audio output
which increases in pitch as you approach
a magnetic target.
The Mag Pro IIIA has three
separate meters, one for the X, Y & Z
outputs.
