The Mag Pro II is so rugged
and reliable we back it with a LIFETIME warranty! |
The Mag
Pro II is the first and only, truly
user-friendly, portable, precision
single-axis gradiometer on the market!
The LCD panel meter on the top of
the unit displays the magnitude of the
magnetic field gradient in milligauss.
In addition, the unit uses a variable
frequency audio output signal that is
directly proportional to the magnitude
of the external magnetic field gradient.
Augment the standard audio and visual outputs
with a data logger using the Mag Pro II's output jack
and hook up to T and D Model VR-71
data logger or a Lascar EL-USB-3 data logger. The data logger
option allows even greater flexibility as to range,
sensitivity, and data graphing capability using the Microsoft
Excel compatible software. The data loggers are sold separately.

We wont
be surprised if the Mag Pro II soon
becomes the instrument of choice for
Geologists, meteorite hunters,
archeologists, hydrologists, and
geophysicists. Not only is it a great
instrument for professional scientists;
but as a geophysical survey tool you can
expect to see it in the hands FBI
technicians, pipeline survey crews,
Crime Scene Investigators, EPA personnel
and military EOD personnel, just to name
a few.
With the Mag Pro II you can survey a field, meadow
or shallow water in minutes and locate
any buried ferrous anomaly (Knife, gun, pipe
ends...). The Mag Pro II
is great for
pinpointing magnetic "Hot Spots" and
then displaying the magnitude and
direction of the individual magnetic
field components.

Lightweight and user-friendly, the state-of-the-art, Mag Pro II
Magnetic
Gradiometer packs all of its
sophisticated electronics in an
incredibly light 2-lb package.
Shock-mounted sensors maintain proper
sensor alignment, even when exposed to
normal physical abuse.
The
instrument full scale Sensitivity can be
set to 20, 200 or 2,000 milligauss.
With the separate Power/Volume and
Sensitivity controls,
you won't lose favorite or preset
settings every time the Mag Pro II
is turned off.
Without a doubt, we think
you'll agree the Mag Pro II is
the definitive instrument for performing
precise magnetic surveys of any area.
In particular, you can precisely pinpoint
and identify buried iron or steel pipe,
survey markers,
water valves, water meters, 55 gallon
drums, or any other ferrous object
covered by dirt, pavement, water, snow
or ice. It's capabilities
are limitless. An experienced operator can find many uses
for the Mag Pro II.
The Mag Pro II typically
provides over 40 hours of operation from standard,
AA alkaline batteries. The
Low-Battery indicator eliminates those
unwanted surprises by
providing ample warning of fading
batteries 2 to 3 hours before they fail,
a real convenience in the field.
Complementing the
easy-to-read digital display, the Mag
Pro II also uses an audio output
which increases in pitch as you approach
a magnetic target.
